The trial version I have does handle dvr-ms files. It is version
2.1.0.376. Released may 23rd, 2005.

In order to handle dvr-ms files, I must hit the drop down box in the
file selection type and select all files.

I have not tried it on videos longer than 30 minutes, but it handles
them fine. No synch problems and very fast.

As soon as I get around to working with a longer recording, I will
report the results.

I think in order to get full functionality of the trial version, you
must register the product(still free during the trial period).
