RE: TV Tuner Not Installed Error Msg. Please Help

Same thing happen to me, i first had the zd8110, waited until i had all
updates then connected my hp tv tuner(usb2). It never would work for live tv,
or radio.
Then saw a newer model, i then upgraded to zd8230. Again problem came
back, uninstalled, reinstalled, looked for newer drivers. No change, not only
did i get the, not installed, or video files not present, but also windows
report error with mce reciever service. Everything else works fine except
live tv and radio.
I even thought about trying to use other software to use for TV.. that
don't work.
went to ati.com, adaptec.com, and windows. After reading news group messages.

I found the problem was with service pack 2, and usb drivers.

On my hp zd8230, the usb tv tuner (AVC-3610usb) it shows up in the device
manager OK everywhere except under usb devices, no statement marks, but its
in two spots one as eHome infrared Reciever, and as a generic usb hub.
This is wrong and the problem is this laptop and the tv tuner is usb2 not
usb 1.1
these two things should be one device or at least the correct device drivers.
Maybe someone can help us on re-installing usb2 drivers for this device.
Its a four way problem ATI, HP, Adaptec, and Windows Media Edition Service
Packs.
