Not sure why you are having problems getting your system to recognize your
tuner cards.
I installed Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en),
then Catalyst 5.5 (I haven't updated to 5.6 yet), then the 3 downloads of
MMC 9.08
The reason I installed ATI's multimedia Center is that I was planning on
using ATI media center to record in DivX while I'm in town, and Windows Media
Center via http://entertainment.msn.com/tv/guide/ while traveling (I travel a
lot). I have not actually got ATI's multimedia center to work on my Windows
MCE yet, but I have another system for that, so it hasn't been much of a
priority for me. The Windows Media Center; however has worked just fine from
the beginning.
Dowood: I used the AIW 9600 for a couple weeks before I bought the ehome
wonder, and the watch one channel while recording another works just fine (as
well as recording 2 different channels at once), so it isn't just the ehome
wonder.
I wonder if installing MMC 9.08 has anything to do with Windows MCE
recognizing my cards so easily??? Donno
Good luck
