If your Dell comes with a USB tuner, you can watch live TV in the same way
you do with your existing MCE - just feed the cable or cable box into your
laptop's tuner. There is no way to stream live TV from an MCE box to your
laptop.
Well, there _is_ a way, sort of. You can install Orb (www.orb.com), a free
service that allows you to connect to your MCE from any internet browser.
I've used it to view live tv both from a PC at work and from my XP Pro
laptop at home. However, the signal has to travel from the MCE box to Orb's
servers and then to your viewing PC, which may saturate your bandwidth.
