Re: Error in "My Music" in MCE 2004

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I have tried everything I have found in the various micosoft
newsgroups...nothing helps. I tried the above patch, I reinstalled the media
plaer 10, I tried to uninstall and reinstall sp2 but I couldn't get sp2 to
reinstall and had to restore. Since sp2 I have not been able to use Media
Center to play music. It is very frustrating since that was one reason I
wanted the MCE. I have 2004, on an HP laptop. Didn't have a problem before
sp2. If there is anything to fix this someone please let me know, so far
what seems to work for others is not helping me.
