.NET runtime error

Hey,
since a couple of days my media center is having a lot of troubles. I have a
MCE 2002, with WinXP SP2 and MCE 2005 upgrade installed on 3GHz machine with
1.5GB RAM. My scheduler frequently fails, my video decoding performance often
sucks (i get picture freezes) and even when I browse through the MCE menus
and TV guide, the eShell.exe goes up to 100% CPU utilization which basically
stalls all windows for a couple of seconds.
I have seen a lot of (new) .NET Runtime errors in the event viewer:
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( .NET Runtime ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able
to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and
Support for details. The following information is part of the event: .NET
Runtime version 1.0.3705.6018- ehRec.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging
Services: Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0xec0 (3776), Thread id=0x5a8 (1448).
Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application..
I have reinstalled the .NET Framework, but this didn't change anything.
Anyone with an idea what could have happened or what the error means??
Cheers,
Andi
