ATI Graphics Card Driver

Hi,
I'm running one of the latest (supposedly) Graphics Cards, and it's giving
me problems!!! I have a 256 ATI Radeon X600 PCI-Express card. I follow the
common advice of alwyas updating to the most current drivers available for
MCE via www.ati.com. However, at random times, my computer will lock up and
re-start. Windows will ask me to send an Error Report, then it tells me the
ATI Graphics Card is the cause, and I need to download the latest drivers
(which I already have done). It also locks up and restarts at random times
when playing the games "Doom 3" or "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3." On the
RollerCoaster Tycoon website it says that ATI is aware of this issue, and
will try to develop a driver to fix it by November!!!!! Using the PC Doctor
Diagnostics tests, I have pretty much ruled out every other possibility as
the cause of the problem. Should I keep using this current driver? Or
should I revert back to the older driver that came with my Media Center PC?
I was having no problems then.
Thanks for your help!
