I don't understand. Getting the software to work with hardware that is
already installed and already recognized by windows should be a trivial
matter.
Video games work with a wide variety of graphics and sound cards. DVD player
programs work with many types of DVD drives. Why does this media frontend
work with only a handful of hardware models? Doesn't microsoft employ
hundreds of software engineers? What kind of business are they running here?
