Linksys Media Extender Can't connect

I have a Linksys media extender that is connected to my Windows Media Center
PC via a Wireless connection.

I really enjoy the features of this product combination when it works but
have been frustrated with some intermittent connection problems.

I don't leave my Extender connected when I don't use it and many times,
I go to hit the remote control button when I want to watch a show I recorded
and I get very upset when the connection times out.

I've upgraded my Linksys wireless router, the linksys firmware and
anything Microsoft Update will upgrade.

I do have Norton Antivirus on my system and I do use Cisco's VPN to
connect to my company occasionally.

I don't expect to use the Linksys Media extender when my PC is connected
to my company but I do expect it to work when I disconnect.

The only way I seem to reliabiliy get a connection from the extender is
after a clean reboot of my Windows Box.

Is there a fix for these issues??

Here are some recent Application event logs in the order that they
came out, when the extender refused to connect until I rebooted my system.
