The drivers that MS has are often months old.
The error you are getting can be caused by one of the 3 video components.
1. Your graphics card and its driver are not up-to-date (Get the latest from
the card manufacturers Web site).
2. Your DVD Video Decoder is not compatible with the OS level you are
running. ( update it or reinstall it)
3. The TV tuner/video capture card MCE drivers are not compatible with the
OS level you are now running ( Get the latest version from the card
manufacturers Web Site)

2 or 3 above is most likely the problem.
