For XP Pro, at the Welcome Screen with no users logged in, press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice. You'll get the old Win2K style logon. Enter Administrator and leave the password blank.

For XP Home, you must boot to Safe Mode to access the built in Administrator account. Press the F8 key between the BIOS POST screen and XP actually starting to load. Choose Safe Mode and you'll see the Administrator account on the Welcome Screen.

>From the Administrator account, you can change any other account, including its password.
