When you say it crashes, what exactly happens? (Does the Xbox just
disconnect from the PC? do you see any warnings beforehand?). Also, please
check the Application, System, Security, and Media Center Event Viewer logs
(right click My Computer --> Manage) for any errors corresponding to the
time that you were disconnected and then post them here.
Couple other questions:
- do you have a firewall other than the Windows Firewall installed?
- what type of video are you playing? (WMV or MPEG?) Did this same video
file work before installing the update?
