decoders and video adapters

Hello All,
I'm building a Media Center computer based on a Shuttle SB61G2 XPC small
form factor computer. I purchased a 200GB hard drive and did a fresh install
of MC 2005. That all went smoothely. Now I'm trying to configure the Media
Center application and I have run into the decoder problem with message:
"Decoder Error
The video decoder has malfunctioned or is not installed. Please restart
Media Center and/or the computer."
My tuner is the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150MCE which is on the MC supported
hardware list but my display adapter is a Nvidia GeForce4 MX 4000 that, I
think, is not on the list.
Should I find a decoder that will work with the Nvidia GeForce4 MX 4000 that
I have?
Should I buy a new display adapter that is on the list?
Will the new adapter come with an appropriate decoder?
Is there a fanless video adapter (I want quiet) that works especially well?
Any advice is appreciated.
Pete
