Also try playing a recorded 1080i broadcast (CBS or NBC) and playing it with
Media Player instead of with MCE. If it works fine then you will know that
your HD tuner card is working fine and the problem is with the decoder or
with graphics card.
Also it would help to know what display(s) and with what connection(s) and
at what resolution(s) are you using?
