RE: media center extender will not work!!!

I first disabled my macafee firewall and was using the windows firewall. I
even put in the port numbers into the windows firewall to open up. I still
get the error message. I have tried disabling both firewalls and get the
error message. I even disabled my virus scan and get the error message. Do I
have to reset my extender with everything disabled and then give it a try?
What is frustrating is Lynksys does not have an answer, dell does not have an
answer, I do not know who to go to next.
