No Recordings after hardware change

Adding a different TV Tuner (which didn't work so I've reverted back to the
original) in addition to the primary tuner caused MCE to show NO recorded
programs yet my scheduled programs still show AND the recorded Data shows on
the drive itself. How do I re-associate the metafile that has the recorded
TV information with the OS or rebuild that file if it has been wiped out?
