Stephan, thanks for that answer.
I'm started out with an XP 2200 (266 Mhz FSB), but changed it to a XP 2500
(333 Mhz FSB), when I rebuilt the system with MCE 2005. The processor was in
my older PC running stable at 3000+ speeds. But I've been afraid to
overclock it in this case.
It is an Ahanix D.Vine 6 SQ which is similar to their newer MCE 601 case,
but with an extra DVD bay instead of the front panel connectors. I have no
front panel connectors Very, very nice looking, but sort of like a
lamborghini, not very practical. No air intake vents, rear ports only 3
rear 60 mm fan ports, plus PSU fan and a blindingly bright blue LED on the
front panel. Another odd thing about the case is that it has no supports
for the PSU, so it sits on the floor of the case. I had to turn the PSU
upside down to exhaust, so it pulls air down to go out. I was thinking
about switching the direction of the 60 mm fans to bring air in and hope the
PSU fan is powerful enough to exhaust adquately, but I haven't gotten around
to it yet. Maybe this weekend.
