Great work -- unfortunately for me the problem still shows up.
I disabled all the USB ROOT HUBS power management in the device manager 2
days ago, but still have the problems.
My system is a P4 3.0, receiver is the ExpressVu 6100 HD receiver.
Same problem as everyone else: dropping 1st digit on some scheduled
recordings.
I've tried long keydurations of 800 and keyintervals of 750. Works 90% but
90% still presents a major issue when a show comes only once a week and you
miss it.
Also, that niggling 10% (or even 1%) error rate has me checking every
recording that happens to see ... very annoying.
I'm trying again with removing all other USB devices from the computer.
I've already set Power Management to always on with Never for system standby,
shut off monitor, hard drives, etc.
Is there anything to set in the BIOS?
I think you're on the right track...
