Re: Xbox MCX Issue -- Can't View Online Spotlight Videos

Thanks for your response. I don't have any third-party firewall running. As a
matter of fact, I have even disabled the SP2 firewall. I actually have very
little installed on my MCE box. Other than the hardware drivers, and the MCX
software, I haven't installed a thing.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the MCX was one of the options I was
considering. But since everything (else) was working so smoothly, I just
didn't want to mess with it. However, last night, my MCE crashed for the
first time since the upgrade (in about 3 weeks). Nothing in the event log to
speak of. And I didn't get the recovery-from-serious-error message on
rebooting.

So anyway, that incentive of not messing with a good thing is gone now. I
will reinstall MCX on my PC and see how that works. Also, if that doesn't
work, I will try a clean install on the Xbox as well. In any case, I will
delay this until Friday, when I expect to get my 1.01 package.

Will let you know how it goes.

Thanks!
Pat
