Well gee, considering I manage and run a 60 machine network, I think I can
tell when the problem is internal and not. The connection is not being
blocked, etc, microsoft or media center just seems to not want to go any
further past the 0% complete, and yes it is a microsoft problem, I've read
and read upon this, and quite a few people have this exact problem, some
people have solved this by changing their MTU (or did you think I just pulled
this out of my hat?), but as I said this is not working for me either. and
again, consiering it downloaded it just fine the first time around and not
since, and nothings been changed or installed on this machine, gee, what
could possibly lead me to believe its a problem with microsoft?
No connections to the update site: data.tvdownload.microsoft.com is being
blocked, etc. I can reach it via web, etc, but the file refuses to download,
now if I was the only one to have this problem I would for sure say its me,
however, if you would bother to read instead of saying you havnt seen this or
seen very "few" which is it?, you would see people have in fact posted about
this problem.
or am I still just pulling things outa my hat here? hmph!
