Re: display issue with DVI versus S-Video

I've convinced, when it comes to MCE, nVidia is the name to know. Getting
the nVidia DVD decoder and deleting all the others - windvd, powerdvd - had
earlier resolved all my DVD playback/remote issues. Now I found that
replacing the ATI Radeon X600 with an nVidia 6600GT not only resolved all my
connection/display/DVI issues but it surpassed my expectations. This long
time ATI customer is converted and not looking back. I then downloaded the
latest driver set from the nVidia website, which also is way better then
ATI's "good luck finding anything useful site". Not only is the nVidia
interface infinitely better then the ATI's but it is very HDTV ready and
friendly. Add to that a 218 page manual that explains it all. I'm happy now,
and the digital DVI picture is a more vibrant display then the S-Video.
