\Tracing Logs??

I have a folder C:\Windows\Tracing with 26 *.Log files that are being
written to by a procedure I do not remember starting. Because the Tracing
folder is new to me in HpM370n Mce2005,I wonder whether there is any benefit
to running whatever is writing to the log files, or if not,

could someone please tell me how to stop it.
