Re: Please Help - MCX unable to connect

I am not sure it this helps, but I I tried using a utility called GSPot and
it flagged a few problem areas:

Video Installed Codecs:
DSH UYVY Arcsoft Mpeg Encode Filter ** Codec not registered
DSH ffdshow video encoder ** File Missing: C:\WINDOWS\System32\ffdshow.ax
DSH ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder ** File Missing:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ffdshow.ax
DSH MPEG1 Ulead DVD Video decoder ** File Missing: C:\Program Files\Ulead
Systems\Ulead DVD Movie

Audio Installed Codecs:
DSH 0x0001 ffdshow Audio Decoder ** File missing:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ffdshow.ax
DSH 0x2000 Ulead DVD Audio decoder ** File missing: C:\Program Files\Ulead
Systems\Ulead DVD Movie
DSH 0x0050 Arcsoft MPEG Audio Decoder ** File missing:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\mpgaudio.ax

Should I unstall these codecs? How do you do that?
