use another machine to create a scan/recovery boot disk.
It's nothig to do with MCE really, it's a byproduct of an unpretected system
most likely. You MAY be able to recover but I wouldn't count on it. You are
very likely looking at a reload. You could try booting with the MCE cd and
do a "recovery installation" option from the setup.
