I have a very similar problem, my music, radio etc, have disapeared! A few
days ago they were there. All I've done is loaded up my music collection
from CDs, which immediately held a windows media player icon. CD's used to
play in media centre, but now in windows media player. My Toshiba said
Windows media player was not fully installed despite this, so I full
installed it. I was then told in microsoft chatroom that this may have been
the cause, as windows media player should not be fully installed? I dont
even know how to remove it to give that a try. In add/remove windows
components, i tick windows media player and its still there, but it un
installs other things I havent ticked.

I dont know what to try next, but do think it still didnt work before
windows media player wasnt fully installed, which suggests uploading my music
collection did it, why? Maybe because they windows media player files so the
comp immediately associates all music with wmp instead of media centre, but I
literally cannot manually play a CD in media centre. Maybe its because they
dont have correct licences attached to the mp3s? Please help me retrieve all
the features from media centre that have disapeared...
