no, no, no... The sound cables (L+R or Red + White) need to be connected to
your TV Tuner Card, NOT your sound card. This is the only way for MCE to
keep everything in synch (and to actually work at all.) Remember, the TV
Tuner card is always creating an MPEG2 file on your hard drive with video
and audio in synch. You are always watching a 1-2 second delayed program,
even with live TV. If you hook the sound in through the sound card, the
audio will be in real-time with the video lagging 1-2 seconds, if you hear
it at all. Also, the resulting saved files will have no audio at all.
