Sure, sharing pics, music, and videos is no problem. The only pain with
WMP10 and sharing music is that all machines will have their own library
database and each of these will sync with the store on your SBS machine. At
least you can establish read-only shares to prevent your store from getting
messed up. I wish Microsoft would implement the ability to simply share a
library database as once can with MusicMatch Jukebox.
As for sharing recorded TV, each machine has to record locally. At the
moment, it is impossible to record to a mapped drive or a shared folder. It
is possible to share all your local files(see www.thegreenbutton.com) but is
a real pain. It also requires crippling security. One solution, though ugly
and resource intensive, would be to write some batch files for your machines
to periodically cut/paste your DVR-MS files to your SBS machine and then
change your watched folders in WMP10 for each of your machines.
