I installed the trial version of PowerDirector 4 and gave it a try. It will
not support the DVR-MS files. The error message advises that I install the
MS download -Windows XP SP1 Update Watch TV Shows Recorded by Media Center
PCs on Other Windows XP PCs. I attempted to install the update but was
prevented and warned that it does not apply to my system. So I am back to
square one. Still looking for a software package that I can trust.
