Try temporarily wiring your Xbox directly to your PC using a cross-over
Ethernet cable; if you don't experience problems in that configuration,
you've identified your network hardware as the source of the problem. If you
still experience the issue you mention, then it's likely an issue with your
PC. Either way, once you've identified the source of the problem we can
troubleshoot it further.
