Hi Andy,

I don't know if this works for built in displays but try this:

1. Go to START -> Run and write "regedit.exe" (without the "")
2. Click OK and you should see the Registry Editor in front of you
3. Navigate to:
    "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media
Center"
4. Choose Edit -> New -> DWORD Value
5. Give it the name -> "TVSkin" (Without the "") and the value 0
6. Close the Registry Editor and restart your machine

The value 0 (NULL) means that MCE will optimize for LCD / Plasma. When you
give it the value 1 it will optimize for traditional TV.
