Very interesting post!
Dana is correct - ripped DVDs won't play friendly with a hardware based
extender. A software based extender is in the works from what I hear but no
word on whether or not it will accomidate XVID or DIVX based rips of your
DVDs. If you rip your movies down to raw mpg2, then an extender might work
but dear Lord that's a lot of hard drive space!
