I found and downloaded DECCHECK which told me I have 5 MPEG2 codecs
installed! None of them looked like MS software, which I would have expected
to be with MCE as there must have been something there in the first place.
The others are Elecard, Cyberlink, Arcsoft, Ulead and Sonic, with the
Cyberlink marked as 'Preferred' but not compatible with 'synchronisation'!
I followed the option to upgrade Cyberlink but they want money for their
'Power Packs'!
I have a feeling I need to get rid of these and find whatever MS codecs were
originally on MCE as they all used to work.
