I am not sure about CID in the UK(I would try a generic, american phone to
confirm if any differences exist, either it works or it won't), but I know
for my modem (PCI, AOpen 56-S, running generic conextant "windows Provided"
drivers), I had to run a simple init command for CID support to be turned on.
Check the documentation with your modem (or their web site) to find the
proper command for your modem. Here is my solution:
Shut down Media Center
Go to System Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Modems
go to the Advanced Tab, Under "extra initialization commands", I enter
"AT+VCID=1" (without the quotes) the default on most modems is VCID=0, which
disables CID.
Restart the system.
You may find this exact command will work for you.

My modem's standard commands are:
AT+VCID=0 Disables Caller ID
AT+VCID=1 Enables Caller ID with formatted data
AT+VCID=2 Enables Caller ID with unformatted data
AT+VCID=? Displays the allowed values
AT+VCID? Displays the currrent value

Hope I helped.

According to the manufacturer if they support call identification, but it does not work.
