Which of the following behaviors did you see after using TweakMCE?
1) You still saw the notification in the upper right informing you of
network problems
2) You didn't see the notification, but TV playback sometimes pauses
completely (audio and video)

It sounds like you're seeing behavior 1, which suggests that the setting
controlling network congestion recovery didn't stick; did you try step 7 in
my steps below?
