Well, I have no idea, nor can I think of a way to find out. I haven't
installed anything that I know of which has anything to do with My Music.

For me, I'm almost certain it happened when I had a moment of weakness and
activated the "Privacy Service" functionality in McAfee Internet Security
Suite which came bundled on my Dell just before xmas. Right after that the
problem started on both the console and the extender. The console I could fix
by tweaking the security setting in IE, but I don't know how to do the same
tweak for the account the extender uses. Do you know how to do this?

BTW, The McAfee sludge has since been completely uninstalled. This did NOT
repair the problem.
