Ture

Part this not ture being SageTV, GR-PVR, BeyondTV and few other can do this with same channel lineup with Multi-Input Source like
below
BOTH Tuners (Trick is to setup each receiver on diff tuner output channel that where 3/4 switch come in handly)
Setup 1st receiver using Tuner Output and setup the 2nd receiver using S/Video or Composite.
I have setup (2) Dishnetwork DP301 receivers with one receiver using S/Video and other receiver using Tuner output or I can Tuner
output all way.
unlike MCE which doesn't allow switching to auxiliary video inputs so your SOL unless you get REAL PVR app that dose way more then
MCE.
What I don't know if MCE will allow to setup Tuner Cable or Sat for from diff channel like said with BOTH Tuners Trick above.

Not ture but that depend on receiver box on weather or not it has 3/4 channel switch.
