Pete... wow, that was a quick response. I'm impressed...

I do not have dynamic disks turned on. Had to go read up on that actually
to make sure. I do have SATA drive partitioned via PartitionMagic 8.0 into 3
partitions, and am storing 'My Documents' and 'Recorded TV' on one of the
partitions (outside of the main Windows partition). Don't think that applies
to what you were asking about though...

I de-installed Windows Media Connect. Did not solve problem...

Here's the lines from Event Viewer that applies to the situation. I get the
same sequence each time. I meant to include this on original post, but
forgot. Thanks for the reminder...

Type Date Time Source Cat. Event
Information 2/1/2005 10:59:39 PM Media Center Extender Services None 291
Warning 2/1/2005 10:59:35 PM Media Center Extender Services None 37424
Information 2/1/2005 10:59:27 PM Media Center Extender Services None 291
Information 2/1/2005 10:59:00 PM MsiInstaller None 11728
Information 2/1/2005 10:58:55 PM MsiInstaller None 11728
Error 2/1/2005 10:58:54 PM Media Center Extender Services None 36866

I'm assuming the error number is enough in last line... if you need the
details (verbage, etc.) let me know.

Again... thanks.
