Windows Media Connect is a communications mechanism for sharing media
files with newer network connected devices (Connected DVD players, etc).
If you don't need it, I would recommend that you remove it from your MCE
machine whenever using extenders. That said, if you've never actually
enabled it then it's unlikely to be the cause of your problem.
Please review the logs in event viewer, that will detail which
executable is causing your connection error.
