RE: DVR-MS to MPEG?

An update...

I downloaded Arcsoft's product. I was able to convert to MPEG.

I tried opening them in Win Movie Maker 2, but there were too many things
"firing" and it couldn't open any.

I have TMGEnc 2.59 (MPEG1 only, no pro) and tried to take clips out (my main
purpose). Well it appeared it worked. Until I ran the videos again then all
I could hear was the audio and with a black screen.

Any thoughts?
