program directly into avi format so that I do not have to
take time to convert dvr-ms file into .avi (this is very
time consuming. Also when I try to burn a TV show
recorded in dvr-ms format onto a dvd to play it in my
livingroom dvd player which is not a computer dvd player,
the disk will not play but it will play in my computer. I
want to play it on my living room dvd player not my
computer. Does any one have a solution to my problem. If
media center will not allow me to record in .avi format,
will it record in any format other than dvr-ms? If not,
is there any software that you can recommend that will
allow me to convert dvr-ms files to .avi at a very fast
speed.
Thanks for your responses
