Barb,

Sorry about the link. Here is the info from that post.

Video is Black & White w/Splotches of Color on Dual TV tuner?

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?&query=CaveCanem&lang=en&cr=US&guid=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.windows.mediacenter&p=1&tid=1745f790-7f34-4492-b141-f7d33f4a74c9

Bright Video Sources, and Graphics have full color saturation, but Film
Sources, and Dark Scenes are Black & White with Splotches of Color.
Particularly on Flesh-tones where the actors look like they have been
sunburned, and suffer from severe jaundice on parts of their body. This
appears to be only on Live and Recorded TV, DVDs are fine.

Which makes me believe it is somewhere between the Digital Cable Boxes and
Emuzed TV Tuner (ie the Composite-to-S-Video adapters that came with the
tuner card). But it could be the second tuner box weakening the strength of
the signal, though there does not appear to be any noise on the channels,
just color problems. HBO and Showtime seem to have this problem the worst,
just to throw in another Riddle wrapped in a Mystery inside an Enigma.

I hope you can help!

Motorola/Comcast DCT2000 Digital Cable Boxes - (Composite Only, No S-Video -
HDTV DVR box has S-Video for $10 extra a month, but that kinda defeats the
purpose of the Dual TV Tuner.)

JVC AV-32D501 - 32" Direct-View CRT - Standard Television - 800 lines of
Horizontal Resolution and Component Inputs.

Dell UltraSharp 17" LCD Monitor (used both in extended and clone, and
switched primary monitor between LCD and TV, with same result)

Dell Dimension XPS Gen4 / MCE 2005
Emuzed Angel Dual HQ TV Tuner
nVidia GeForce 6800 PCIe
PowerDVD DX

2 Motorola DCT2000s to Emuzed Dual Tuner via
Composite/RCA-to-(Composite/S-Video adapter supplied by
Dell/Emuzed)(RCA/MiniJack adapter)

GeForce 6800 to Direct-View CRT TV via S-Video
Audigy 2 ZS to A/V Receiver via Digital Coax with Mono MiniJack Adapter
