I've had a similiar problem. I think it may be due to the size of the video
file. The file that I have is over 2 hours long recorded in best quality
mode which exceeds the maximum size of the MySonicDVD lite software limit for
a single layer DVD disc. I realized this by trying to load the file directly
into the MySonicDVD software. It would load about 3/4 of the file and then
just stop. It looks like it will read up to the DVD limit and then stop.
Since MySonic DVD is the default recorder for my MCE, I guess this is why its
croaking. I'm going to try to burn a shorter show that will fit on the DVD
to test this theory.
