If you're running over 100 Mbps wired and have performance issues, I suggest
updating the driver on your PC's NIC and also checking whether running the
NIC in half duplex mode vs. full duplex mode makes a difference (I've seen a
NIC with a buggy driver where full duplex mode was problematic)
