MCE 2005 does everything that MCE 2004 does with the following improvements:
- Support for dual tuners
- Support for Media Center Extenders (MCX)
- Support for Windows Messenger
- Ability to burn CD/DVDs from within MCE
- My Movies (US Only)
- Support for Syncing media hardware - Portable Media Centers and MP3
players.
- Updated UI
There's probably more but it's a bit early on a Sunday morning ;-)
MCE 2005 has almost all the same features as XP Pro apart from the ability
to join a domain.
