I have just:
Uninstalled MCX software from the MCE PC
Reinstalled (Upgrade) Windows XP MCE 2005
Downloaded all Windows Updates
Reinstalled MCX software
Reinstalled Update Rollup 1
Reset Router and reinstalled Firmware
Reset Gaming Adapter and reconfigured it
Added both MCX devices afresh to the MCE PC

I still get this error, sometimes even when I've just signed in to
MCMessenger:
Unauthorized window was detect while running the Media Center Experience,
'Windows Messenger', with file name 'C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe'.
