I'm in Sweden but still..there seems to be a bunch of small OEMs (Tawainese)
that make these. The one I picked is made by "Sunrex" in Taiwan. (A bit
difficult to find the brand printed anywhere. No reseller would know or
care who the actual OEM is..

A picture of it (might be wrapped):

Small, RF-based, integrated trackball.
Regular "off white" grey:ish PC colored. Regular PS2 connector for the
antenna. The trackball isn't exactly a super-exact replacement for mouse
navigation, but works well enough for temp useage. I still like it,
compared to having a separate wireless mouse - not chance in hell I want a
mouse also in the living-room. Just need to grab the mini-keyboard and lean
back in the sofa..
I was also SURE I wanted an RF-based and NOT an IR model keyboard, to me
it's bad enough already to have to point all the remotes at sensors across
the coffee table -- no way I'd accept that with a keyboard. (Unfortunately
I have a solid oak coffee table, glass would probably have been smarter.)
It seems to run on 3 x AA batteries for months.

Also tried the low-end Bluetooth keyboard/mouse kit from Microsoft (there's
a deluxe kit out there too): seemed intermittent in operation plus it uses
a separate mouse is not what I need in the living room. Also requires
batteries for both keyboard and mouse with pretty red LEDs that lights up,
seems quite stupid for battery operation. This is just me though...
