You're Radeon 9250 probably is supported, as the Radeon 9200 series does
have MCE drivers at their site:

I'd recommend a Hauppauge PVR-150MCE for a tuner card. Good performance at
a good price. Also, I'd recommend the Nvidia MPEG2 drivers which are
required by MCE for video playback.
