Getting wierd results with clean install - Internet explorer icon is blank
default and does not work. Network adapter only appears in "Network
Connections" after I manually turn on the "Network Connections" service.
Attempting to view the Event log gives me "Unable to complete the operation
on 'Application'. The interface is unknown".
Same results if I install after pulling Hauppage board.
I am hitting "Cancel" when prompted for SP2 CD.
My Computer Properties shows "Microsoft Windows XP, Media Center Edition,
Version 2002, Service Pack 2", "512 MB of RAM, Physical Address Extension"
Setup of Media Center fails with "Critical process failure. Code: 3"

Install of XP-Pro worked fine.

Running on ASUS K8N (bios 1003), 512Mb, AMD 64 3000+, nVidia GeForce
FX6700LE, Hauppage WinTV-PVR-150, Microsoft 1040 USB Remote, WD200 SATA, all
components and software from the "Build-it Take-it" seminar.
