I think that's the same TV that I've got, but I'm using an nVidia card.
>From what I remember it doesn't correctly report the resolutions it supports
so you'll need to play with a bit to get a better resolution. Recent nVidia
drivers made this much easier, I can now send a 720p or 1080i signal to it
OK. I used Powerstrip in the past and had some success in getting
resolutions other than VGA, but I couldn't do anything about the overscan.
The good news is that Media Center will display fine.

If you use a DVI to component adpator you'll have problems playing DVDs at
resolutions other than 640x480.
