How, exactly, did you shut it down? On my PCs, Hibernate/Suspend is an
option on the Shutdown dialog. When I do a Hibernate, I get a graphic that
shows that it's hibernating, rather than the standard shutdown graphic. Look
in your power options in control panel - you have the option there of
assigning hibernate or shutdown to your system's power button.
